Forgotten password

In the Forgotten password section you can setup messaging configuration and reCaptcha settings of forgotten password feature.

1. In Messaging configuration, select which of your messaging configurations will be used to send emails to user that requested reset of forgotten password.

2. In Reset password email template, select which of existing emails templates will be used for forgotten password reset. It uses predefined template by default, which can be customized by, for example, adding terms of service. It is also possible to create custom template and use it. There are several variables usable for this template:

   1. {{password-reset-link} - Activation link (web link e.g. https://acme.com/passwordreset)

   2. {{password-reset-expiration-time}} - Amount of time after which the password reset link stop work (e.g. 6 hours)

   3. {{customer-name}} - Name of the company (e.g. Acme corporation)

3. Enable the reCAPTCHA toggle if you wish to use reCAPTCHA protection for the reset forgotten password process. We strongly recommend keeping this option enabled.

4. In reCAPTCHA Secret, enter your reCAPTCHA secret if you wish to use your own reCAPTCHA account. If the field is left empty, the system default will be used.

5. In reCAPTCHA Site Key, enter your reCAPTCHA site key if you wish to use your own reCAPTCHA account. If the field is left empty, the system default will be used.
