Fixed stuck "Please wait" screen on older device lines - added new HTTP client
Older Canon device lines could remain stuck on the "Please wait" screen because the terminal relied on an HTTP client that is not working on those models. The terminal now fallbacks to a new client supported across the older device lines, so the terminal loads and operates as expected on the full range of supported devices. (HCP-16804)
Fixed print jobs failing with unsupported data error
Print jobs submitted through the PC Client could fail with the message "Could not execute because the file contains unsupported data", leaving the job unprinted. Jobs are now generated in a format the device accepts and print reliably on affected models, including imageRUNNER ADVANCE C3520, C5860 and C5550. (HBT-6505)
Fixed print jobs from a custom driver failing to execute
Jobs sent to SafeQ Cloud through a custom driver failed when released at the terminal. Such jobs now print correctly, and the finishing-options icon is shown only for jobs that actually carry finishing metadata. (HBT-6597)
Fixed admin credentials change not persisting when only the password is changed
When an administrator changed only the password of the terminal admin credentials and left the user name unchanged, the new password was not stored and the previous one remained in effect. Credential changes are now saved reliably regardless of which fields are modified. (HBT-6465)
Fixed incorrect scan resolution for some values
Some entries in the Scan resolution list (Low, Normal, Fine, High, Highest/Super) produced scans at a different DPI than selected. The DPI values now match those used by the other terminals. (HBT-6584)
Fixed administrator seeing the previous user's Quick actions screen
After a regular user logged out, an administrator opening the Print and Scan app was shown the Quick actions screen of the previously logged-in user. The administrator now gets an empty Quick actions screen instead. (HBT-6596)

Fixed broken density setting

Fixed scan to JPEG format
When scanning with the JPEG format selected, an empty document is no longer created. Users now receive the expected output, ensuring scans complete as intended without invalid files. (HBT-6369)
Fixed translations containing broken variables
Translated text that previously displayed broken or unresolved variables now renders correctly. This ensures users see clear, properly localised messages throughout the interface. (HBT-6384)
Fixed language selector selecting language when scrolling
The language selector no longer unintentionally changes the selected language while the user is scrolling through the list. Languages are now only selected on a deliberate choice, preventing accidental changes.
Fixed duplicated endpoint screen when retry button is used

Improved terminal security with token signing and replay protection

Custom logo upload has no longer 10 kB size restriction
Custom logo uploads were limited to a 10 kB file size, preventing administrators from uploading standard-sized logo files and resulting in missing logo on the terminal. (HCP-15585)
Pull print now supports all finishing options
Users can now pull and print jobs with the full set of finishing options originally defined within our driver, such as stapling, hole punching, and folding.
This ensures finishing settings are correctly transferred and applied when printing from the cloud, so output matches the intended job configuration. (HCP-15861)
Users can now also set or modify basic finishing options directly on the terminal, such as number of copies, colour, or duplex.
Users are notified when print job finishing options are not supported
When a print job contains finishing options the target device does not support, the user is now clearly informed before or during printing.
This prevents silent failures and gives users the opportunity to adjust settings or select a different device, ensuring a predictable printing experience. (HCP-15862)
Support for custom public CA-signed certificates
Administrators can now configure the terminal to trust custom public CA-signed certificates for their SAFEQ Cloud tenant, rather than relying solely on the default certificate chain. (HCP-15977)
Fixed Canon device copy operation causing terminal instability

PIN code auto-submits when the OK key is pressed

Terminal settings secured with MFD admin credentials
Terminal configuration settings are now protected by MFD administrator credentials, preventing unauthorised access to the terminal setup.

Stored device token and API key are now encrypted with a device-specific compound key
